First day fixture - Alty v Cambridge United...

...possibly  :)

Am i right in thinking the last two seasons have seen you start the campaign at home to the losing play-off finalists Stevenage and Exeter?

Exeter was a blip, must've been computer problems. It is always Stevenage.

I hope this is our opening day fixture because Cambridge are a side in big financial trouble with no manager and a very wafer thin squad after all their cost cutting since the play off final ;)

Yes. Almost the entire first team from the play-off final have gone ... and now the manager. It would seem something serious is going on down there. What's going on?

We have played the losing finalist in two of the last three seasons but Halifax were the losing finalists in 2005/6.
