The Odds are 40/1 , all prices are now in after halifax's appeal failed on weds.

I would not bet on it Longman, but I do like the Hughesy optimism. I think we will finish a couple of places further up though, say six from bottom because the preparation will be better.

 It does however raise an interesting point relating to the football league rules. What would they say if we were promoted via the play offs, but were still a part time side.They didn't make the right decision when we should have been there on merit two decades or so back.

I think we would be ok to run as a part time team in the football league, however we might get battered each week.  I distinctly remember an ex chairman saying we could be a div 1 team part time, how times change!
