..............................Coburn
Densmore......Havern.....Leather.....Griffin
Mwasile............Richman....Moult......Clee
.....................Reeves.....Walshaw
We are better on the front foot pressing the play
Hednesford 1-2 Altrincham

That would also be my team and if it played to its full potential should be capable of beating anyone in this league out of sight.
I suspect he may pair one of Walshaw and Reeves with Perry, though.
I fancy us to nick a tight game 1-0.
Big, big game this.
-
Id go with listed team but can also see Perry starting.
Massive game. 1-1

As above but with Lawrie behind Reeves or Walshaw 4 - 4 - 1 -1. Predicition? PP at midday!

Durrell has gone to Wrexham :)

I'd go for that team however I fear the Birmingham car will be involved
-
Play Reeves up front on his own and add Wilkinson to midfield allowing Clee & Mwasile to support Reeves from the wings.
We start to get that little bit of luck thats been missing recently and couple of refereeing decisions go our way
instead of against us.
3-0 win
-
I'd be very surprised if he played both Clee and Mwasile. Can't remember perfectly but didn't Wilko have a great game against these at home?
-
He had a decent game think it was his debut
-
At the start of the season I repeatedly predicted us to lose......and it was a long time till we did.
So...........................
5-0 defeat.
-
I'd be very surprised if he played both Clee and Mwasile.
Why?
-
denis suggests probably the best X1 playing in sensible formation everyone agrees and predicts vital win......Lee picks entirely different formation....we lose....
There is some sort of pattern forming I just can't quite put my finger on......

I was thinking just that as I was reading the thread. We can but hope.

big game. big response to recent results. 2-2
-
The only problem I see with Dennis' team is that of getting hold of the ball (but we don't have a natural ball-winner available in any case); I wouldn't have Marshall or Perry in the starting XI but the management may well think differently. The only other problem I see is the amount of rain that might fall today - I still remember my one & only trip to the old ground, arriving to glimpse a paddy field and hear of a postponement. The new one is higher up, I think, but it's still going to be very wet. Hope we play!
-

Why?
Don't think he'll go that attacking. He likes a safety net on at least one side of the pitch.
-
Dont think he likes a 'safty net' its just the fact we've not had someone who could be classed as a right winger since Watmore left.
He's certain to go 4-4-2 so not to play Mwasile and Clee would be madness.
-
Not far me to travel to Keys park just 35 miles. The ground looks v good on there website.
Windy and wet here in Shropshire just now.
2-3 Alty. Reeves Clee and Leather.
-
Head on the block time guys this time. revenge will be sweet, they no longer have the poison dwarf and are likely to conceed as score. We had a big scoreline last Weds to boost confidence, so providing all goes to plan, it's 5-1 to Alty for me. Hope I am right!! Durrell was the only difference last time, good buy for Wrexham that. Don't forget last time we were also playing against the referee. We owe them, trust in Lee to play the best team, and lets get our own back and boost our place in the tbale. This is our best chance today but we have got to be up for it.
-
spot on with post, lets have a good TEAM performance 1-2, to alty reeves & wally
-
tremendous team effort, good point to get ,
-
I guess if we can avoid defeat against the top sides and beat everyone else we are giving ourselves a chance....defeat today would have probably put hednesford out of reach...
and yes great character from the players to keep going and get the equaliser...probably a point gained in the end...
-
Great point today against a decent hednesford side. I thought it was a fair result in the end, though with both sides having good chances. Think we looked much better with Walshaw on with Lawrie just behind him. That's no slight on Perry who has been quite decent recently, albeit quite quiet today I just think we look more dynamic with Reeves and Perry.
Was quite impressed with Hednesford's ground too and their fans were also pretty decent. Good day in the end.
-
Gutsy passionate performance and neither team deserved to lose.
Why oh why does he persist in starting Perry though?
Once again, he's proved he ain't got a clue but he'll be forgiven cos we didnt lose.
However, with Reeves and Walshaw on from the start we would have won.

Exactly.Getting beyond a joke now >:( >:(
-
One point I noticed was how quick Hednesford generally shut us down, whilst we persist in giving the opposition to much space. we were very wasteful with our skyball tactics today. But we got a deserved point.
-

Full marks sir!
-
Very fair result in terrible windswept conditions with snow/rain thrown in.
They had much more possession in and around the box but we had the better chances.
Their lad wont score another like that for a long time. Full credit for keeping going to the end and the joy at the equaliser was brilliant. Nice to shove it up their fans who sang more songs against Alty than for Hednesford. We're not bitter rivals lads.
For me Perry deserved his place in the team for that last month or so but poor displays against Worcester and today mean it simply to has to be Reeves and Walshaw for Telford.
Please make it happen Lee.
