A goal made by Alty's most hated, Peyton to O Niell

Prolific striker replaced by a waste of space.

We're down to ten men as far as I'm concerned.

Here's the other choices

ALTRINCHAM: Coburn, Lane, Doughty, McGregor, Young, Lawton, Little, Peyton, Johnson, Densmore, Smith. Subs: Denham, O'Neill, Ralph, Meechan, Hadfield.

BURTON: Poole, Webster, Simpson, James, McGrath, Corbett, Harrad, Goodfellow, Buxton, Pearson, Yates. Subs: Stride, Gilroy, Deeney, Austin, Morris.

I might have put Denham on especially away from home. Nothing against Joe but I'd have thought he was too similar to Dale and Denham would be more likely to provide something from deeper but all credit to GH and Joe. Shows what I know!

I've just always found him to be a bit powder puff. I'm the happiest man in the world to be proved wrong by anybody and, in fairness to him, Joe seems to have done a job today. At the end of the day, if Alty perform well and get results I don't care whether I'm right or not, it's not important.

Seriously, big credit to GH as he seems to have got it spot on so far today!

Any idea what formation we are playing?

4 4 2 apparently,

Ta, which of the defenders in centre mid? Smith?

I went there for a trophy game in the mid 80's, the place was a cauldron with well over 3,000 there.

That would have been their old ground. Our coach got vandalised when we went there in 2001/02 - charming place!  ::)

I have to say the commentators seem pretty good today. Although if we can keep the score the same I think a "we should be beating teams like this" is on it's way!!
