Of course we've had lots of success at seaside resorts in the past and it does seem to be that we do indeed like to be beside the seaside (the Thames mudflats at ebbsfleet doesn't count anymore)

So two glorious wins at Blackpool....that memorable 4-0 at Southport (or was it 4-1)....the 2-0 win at weymouth in the trophy a few years back........

What are our other seaside greatest moments and have we ever been sunk by the briney?

I think it's a good omen myself.

My dad said he once had a great seaside victory at Margate against a bunch of T**ts wearing parkas with giant targets on the back.

What about that win at Whitby - was it only 4 years ago?

How about wins at such venues as Rhyl and New Brighton in the 1960s?

Fleetwood in the 1960s & 1970s (and we may have to go back there next season).

Scarborough through various decades, too.

Dover in the 1990s.

Not to mention Morecambe 7 Altrincham 0 in 1996.....!

Eh, less of Blackpool  ;D

And Fleetwood Town is more than a possibility, Colin Potts vs Warren Peyton...
