To be honest, 2 more and a crowd of 700 doesn't look half as bad. 680 home fans against a side who bring 150 would have given us a respectable midweek attendance tonight.

Also, lots of people are still on their hols so there is much more to come. Not many teams will bring as few as Histon.

If the scores stay like this, will we be top on alphabetical order?  ;)

Not many away fans
still holiday time
footy on the telly?  But Arsenal vs Celtic, honestly??

It's really disappointing, I know it's easy to say that from here - sorry.

Looking on the bright side we're beating Histon 2-1 ;D

Bloody awful, come on the town of Altrincham, support your team. Shame on you one game a season types. Angry and disappointed after our start.

Our home attendances on Tuesday nights against unattractive opposition were quite poor last season too:

Tue.12.8.08    H    BARROW    7.45pm    3-4    1,312
Tue.23.9.08    H    MANSFIELD TOWN    7.45pm    1-0    1,005
Tue.27.1.09    H    YORK CITY    7.45pm    1-1    1,027    Densmore 14
Tue.10.3.09    H    TORQUAY UNITED    7.45pm    0-1    735
Tue.7.4.09    H    EASTBOURNE BOROUGH    7.45pm    2-2    605

Barrow, York and Mansfield will all have brought decent numbers. As soon as there is a small away following the attendance drops substantially.

Obviously the attendance isn't great, but it's about par for the course really.

From BBC text : "Chris Senior is caught offside. Chris Senior is shown a yellow card."

A bit harsh surely.......
