I have been informed that Skipper (Gary Wright) is in hospital with a serious head injury, after having a fall at home over the weekend.   I have been asked by his family to inform people of the above situation, as he is well known at the club.  I will do my best to  keep you all informed of any further news.  I hope you will all join me and wish him a speedy recovery and see back at moss lane soon.

Terrible news. 

Gary won't mind me saying he likes a drink but he wouldn't harm a fly.  A true dedicated home and away Alty fan.

Don't know the guy personally but I know who he is. Looks as rough AF, but never seen him do anything other than support his team and always ther home and away. Hope he's Ok?

He is one of the stewards and also wears a baseball cap full of football badges home and away
