I can't remember the last time i saw a team in the 1st round of the FA Cup that i have never heard of. That defeat at Trafford should be played to the players before next seasons competition begins. They must never forget how important it is for non league clubs. Shortwood are 12/1 to beat Port Vale. BT are showing the game live. It will probably pay the players wages for the season.

I was astonished to discover that there were two teams in Nailsworth ! Shortwood player manager Alex Sykes played for "big" neighbours Forest Green Rovers in one of their losing Trophy finals.
