Think this the first time we've faced them, I think they've had a spell in the mid Cheshire league years back. An obscure ground to tick off, as many will be this year. Hoping it's more inspiring than that Widnes fixture last year that left many with quiet unease after we were lucky to escape with a draw

It is indeed the first time we've met. We played against the old Whitchurch FC in the Cheshire League from 1921-1933, a total of 24 games, but this of course is a totally different club.

They appear from twitter to have a decent set up and be on their way up (first time in fa cup this year), already had a preseason friendly which they won. You would think it should be an easy win but like you say widnes was ominous

Its a decent little ground and I expect that this game will be an ideal match for the new regime to start off with.
Me and my son will be there trying in vain to put names to faces... weather is ideal, not to hot with a light breeze..

We really should be beating teams like this
No disrespect etc
