A letter in the Non League Illustrated News indicating we're a fair bit above average for the BSN

Its about £12 on average for the BSN and about £16 average for the Conference national.

We were more overpriced last year but that aways happens when a team comes down, most teams went up by a quid this year and we stayed the same so we're a bit less overpriced if that makes sense.

£14 is very cheap for the league.

Someone always tells us its 40p (includes a free scarf) to get in some sky tv subsided club who dont care about gate money at this point..

When I first went to Alty it was 70p to get in as a junior.

When folk go on about twenty shillings I switch off I'm afraid.  Don't you remember the shilling and penny, no I don't and you already know I was born in the mid 70's.  Oh don't you remember The Flower Pot Men, no and you know that  ;)

If we were to progress to the 3rd or even 4th round, and we came up against someone like united city or even chelsea, would it be £30 or £40 to get in to watch the game?Providing we were away of course.
When i started watching Alty we paid to get in with roman coins  ;D

When I first started coming regularly in 1990/91 it was free for kids to get in. I wonder how many of our current fanbase came for free in those days and got hooked?

It just goes to show how important the kids teams are for the future of our club. I think in years to come we'll see more and more benefit from it as well. Brilliant stuff!
