I am sure Moss Lane would not have been in such a bad state as the Wembley* pitch even allowing for the rain. . It was an embarrassment.

Credit to the work that has been done at Moss Lane.

*Apparently they decided they did not need a fully retractable roof as they have never had to postpone an FA Cup final. FA = ameteurs
