I think a lot of this is a bit daft (and possibly tongue in cheek) but he was never going to invest in us over Salford was he
I think the interesting point is that Salford are on a journey. Starting with Class of 92, they brought a billionaire on, and now David Beckham has joined on.
I'm sure if we hooked one (right) major investor, he would get others to buy into his journey.
The so-called five-year plan (which I believe we are actually on track for on the pitch, 1 promotion and pushing for a 2nd in year two) should have been converted in a vision of taking us to the top of non-league in beyond, and sold to investors - not to have to do it on their own, but to come together with other like-minded invidiausls, who can share in this.
