As many of you will be aware this weekend is our Altrincham FC Beer Festival which is taking place over the course of the weekend, starting with the annual Staff V Supporters game on Friday night.

After a series of discussions with the Radio Robins team it has been decided that the game will be available to listen to LIVE on Friday evening.

However, due to the current Radio Robins team being involved in other aspects of the Beer Festival the commentary will be coming from two completely new and untrialed commentators in the form of Messrs Chris Ainsworth and Mike Reeves. It is hoped that there will be various interviews and summaries from both team members.

Whilst we, of course, hope that the commentary will not be too dissimilar in quality from that which you have enjoyed over the past couple of seasons, this commentary is being provided for general entertainment and will contain a strong element of fun. Also, there will be reviews of the real ales that the commentary team will be sampling during the game.

The game kicks off at 7pm on Friday evening, and we hope that many of you that cant make it down to watch/support/sample the ales can enjoy the commentary from home. The Radio Robins chat room will also be available for use during the game.
