We've been right up against it these last few weeks with injuries and suspensions and could quite easily have been on the end of some horror scorelines. That we've continued to pick up points and keep clean sheets along the way is an absolute credit to the players and management.

Tough game ahead on Saturday but let's hope we put on another big-hearted display!

Dead right. We've picked up points when we could easily have struggled.
If we'd lost the games that were drawn we could be thinking that we needed points from Saturday whereas we've been solid, a defaeat wouldn't be then end of teh world and there should be enough belief that a win wouldn't be a total surprise.

The players and staff should be very pleased with what's been achieved through the last few games.

A bang on post....a few years ago we'd have lost the last four games and been panicking about FGR in the AGM cup....we are clearly holding our own and that is a credit to everyone....management, players, fans, tea lady etc.

Agreed.  A couple of seasons back we would have huffed and puffed for 20 mins, missed a chance then lost 3 or 4 nil.

We are making progress.

Its not enough progress to wake the floaters but those of us that know the situation (people on here I mean) are pretty pleased we are not witnessing a mauling I think.

To be honest, I really enjoyed last nights game and even though I am always optimistic I was quite impressed for the following reasons:-

1) Massive injury problems with 8 out, yet we still pull a draw against a team sitting third
2) Loan players who looked ok last night and not out of place
3) No time to adapt for loan players yet still comfortable on ball
4) Chris Denhams run of form
5) Some neat passing moves especially in tight play with little space
6) Agreed with fans re Aaron, like us to sign him, showed promise for first game
7) Matched Tamworth in every department, both sides knocked the ball about well and thought game itself was entertaining despite 1-1 draw
Full available squad would have beaten Tamworth
9) Not conceded for 4 games now, despite staffing problems on the pitch
10) Money coming in from Premier League

There are many reasons to be positive there, any more anybody?

Cheers to all and thanks to team/management for a highly enjoyable game with funny banter between home/away fans - always enjoyed that.

By the way, can we take away the TV stanchion near the sterile area!! Setanta have gone now

Fully agree........although I must have missed both goals when I went to the toilet

The way i see it is that we are doing brilliantly away, getting 3 of our 4 wins this season away from home, but at moss lane were not doing the business, we need to start scoring more at home, no excuses saying well were doing great with the players weve got. fair play yes were missing players but lets not talk down these players who are stepping in, they too should be doing the business for alty
