Who was it that brought a load of toilet rolls to our place and threw them onto the pitch? Remember Stuart running round kicking them off. That would be a laugh...

We went a bit ott with the ticker tape that day to be honest about it!   

Edit : Ticker tape as in ripped up pieces of newspaper.

I remember throwing bag fulls of ripped up paper through the coach sun roof on the way back from Ashington (going through Newcastle I think) to celebrate our fabulous victory there on our only ever appearance at the Home of the Charlton brothers (1969?) first year of the NPL. That was the nearest I ever got to 'ticker tape'
