Crawley drove to northwich again today, either the team coach is as sh*t as my mondeo or the non payment story is true, who knows, they may fold any day.

This really is clutching at straws. And remember,we have to finish in 21st place for any chance of a reprieve. :( :(

There own website states there are transport problems, but to be honest I do not care. What I care about is Pride, Passion and belief we can stay up which is draining away.

The problem is, Crawley or Halifax may very well go bump, but finishing 21st is very much in the balance at the moment. Even given the unlikely scenario that Weymouth lose every game, Vics will probably catch us up given their coming fixtures (4 points at least from Weymouth and Farsley). Unfortunately, we cannot rely on other teams. Three home wins is essential, plus positive results from Burton or Kiddy (a win or two draws) - two away game are complete right offs! Results going this way will probably put us in a position to have to win or draw at Wymouth on the last day. Funnily enough, I can see this happening if there is a change of management asap. Kenny is an Alty man, not an outsider. Gary Brabin could still do a decent job as a player for a month or so. As a club we must do the right thing now, or it wil certainly be non league oblivion next season.

we cant be hoping for a reprieve! we neet to be able to compete within this league or face going down and not relying on the actions of other teams. Why are some people thinking like this? we need to get together and support the lads for the few remaining games and gather the required points!

I don't think we can afford Brabin's wages.

Shame - the team of McKenna and Brabin might be just what we need.

To be honest, Brabin at the back and McKenna up front even now would probably do the trick.

I'm always amused by Eddie Hussin and Gary Brabin being best mates, yup I'd certainly start an argument with them two while they're out drinking!  :o

I saw Gary Brabin play for Southport not so very long ago. He's as wide as he is tall these days, but he was still able to command the midfield that evening against top of the table Accrington. Would love to see both Ken and him at the club, but imagine wages would be a problem - probably end up at Chester.

Anybody must be mad to manage Chester.

Heard a reliable rumour (if there is such a thing) down at the local whilst out with Mrs S that Chester may well be going into admin as soon as (or if) they are free from relegation worries.
The general concensus though was that it's very unlikely that they'll finish 11 points better off than the bottom two so they may be left in a bit of a quandry.
Thinking back to them trying to get the wage bill down recently and trying to offload Kevin Ellison to Stockport (easily their best player IMO) as he's on the highest wage at the club, there might well be something in it.
You heard it here first (Ithink!)

That rumour has been hanging around Chester since January.
