I don't recall a Mr Cottis, it was Mr Jeacock in my day, he used to scare half the kids to death but he was a kindly individual really.

Is this the same Mr Jeacock that went to teach at Sale moor secondary looked like Mel Smith

I believe our old primary school Jeacock had a teacher son. Cyril as he was known was in his 60's when I left in 73, I believe he died soon after he retired, probably around 1976. Great teacher and a great man. He would be able to deal with today's lawless idiots.

It will probably be his son then as it is quite an unusual name.
