.....won't sign a contract because he wants to get back into the Football League.

While he was sitting on the bench watching that total bilge this afternoon, he should have been asking himself how come he can't even get a gig with such a woeful outfit, and in that case what chance he's got of getting one anywhere else.

He SHOULD be walking into our team, and starring for us week in, week out. He isn't. Wake up call in spades young man ! ! !

I did hear a rumour from a reliable source that Hewson's agent had been in asking for a wage increase for his client.

Speechless!

Wage increases are usually given for exceptional performance, or even a good performance arnt they?

Reminds me of the story of Peter Cook, when he was touring with Dudley Moore, Alan Bennett and Jonathan Miller.  They all got paid £100 per week.  Peter Cook though appointed an agent, who got him a £10 raise.  However, his agent got 10% of all his earnings, so Cook took home £99 a week as a result. ::)

Well if that's true, then I can donate my admission fee for tonight to pay Joseph.
