I'm very pleased for the lad. He seems to be growing in confidence with time on the pitch, and it can't be easy playing for your dad, with inevitable knives out for you when you make mistakes.

I hope he signs on for next season, he has a touch of class IMO.
he is a sh*t player and only in the team because his dad is manager

Setting aside your entrenched prejudice and contrarian internet persona for a minute, you don't think he made a positive contribution yesterday?

The thing I don't like is Greg wilkinson scored about 5 goals in 12 matches and never got a chance at this level

Fair point. There will always be players who's faces just don't seem to fit, and those who's do, despite everyone else thinking differently (Kyle is a classic example). In Wilko's case, he seems to have had the reputation of a talented underachiever since his Stalybridge days.

He was stretchered off with an ankle injury yesterday according to the County forum.

To return to one of the original topics...

Mister Flynn,

What's happened to the promised AltyTV compilation of the Goal of the Season contenders?

It was shown on the TV screens in the Community Sports Hall after the Good Friday game but has yet to appear on the official website.

Nice as it was to be able to view that footage, I did think that screening it during the Q&A with Lee Sinnott and Neil Tolson was a trifle distracting/disrespectful!

Agreed Wilkinson a far better player than Sinnott jnr, but as others have said its about your face fitting

Wilkinson dad is a farmer, Sinnott dad the manager. Same goes for Williams as well, and the last few games Richman

To be fair richman has been struggling with an injury but I agree that Williams and wilkinson are better than Sinnott jnr however we are having a fair season so Sinnott is doing more right than wrong
