Jordan Sinnott V Southport

Nice free kick, best thing he's done in a red and white top.

I'm very pleased for the lad. He seems to be growing in confidence with time on the pitch, and it can't be easy playing for your dad, with inevitable knives out for you when you make mistakes.

I hope he signs on for next season, he has a touch of class IMO.

He was injured for the first half of the season and has probably had limited game time this season as a whole. I think he will get a Club higher up than us and his dad would want that too. With a full preseason he would be great for us. Don't forget without him today our options would have been Crowther or Gillespie, he has played well and I enjoy watching him. He is only 21/22 after all.

I'm not writing Jordan Sinnott off (although I have my doubts having not seen anything two years ago or this time round) but Crowther is a decent option. Not the same option as Gillespie I'd say.

Edit: ANyway, back to the thread, even if I'd seen a combination of Maradona v England and Barnes v Brazil the best goal of the season has to be Lawrie v Macc surely, it has to be???

Jordan Sinnott seems like a young player with lots of talent who hasn't played a lot of competitive games for a long time. Hopefully the match time he's getting with us (and the goal today) will give the lad confidence to really show what he can do, he is still only 21/22 as said.

Plenty of the current squad have been written off as a bad player and then gone on to improve drastically - Adam Griffin and Tom Marshall have improved out of sight this season and shown what they can do...

As he's a mid fielder I like to see him play there

He seems to wander around not getting involved , in his favour his crossing is very good , also out of position think he is a central mid .
