I'd rather have us pay off our debts first (which is what most of the craney and chequers money is going to ((and rightly so))

then we should modernise the toilets. after all this we should then look at changing the robin IF PEOPLE WANT IT

we need 2 stick to our priorities.

I agree that the debt is the main priority, but surely modernising the toilets and the mascot may encourage more families to attend games?
Therefore boosting income!

Yeh, the toilets may be old and we may need new ones but y do we need to take away rocky hes a legend and alty would not be the same with out him

Back in 1990/91 when my Dad first started bringing me to Alty regularly we kept coming because the team were ace and once I started coming I just didn't want to stop. I loved the atmosphere around the place and banter behind the goal. The bond between players and fans always seems to have been strong and little things like this make people come back for more.

Ever since I've watched Alty the toilets have been grotty and for the first 7 years I watched Alty Rocky Robin was a mere twinkle in John King's eye. The lack of pristine bathroom facilities and a large-headed mascot have never and will never adversely affect attendances.

i agree. having decent toilets won't affect the attendances and neither will advertising the fact we hav a robin as a mascot but why should we take away rocky?? by all means sort out the toilets but whats the point in changing the mascot just for the hell of it.

If it makes you fell better brian I think that the plan was to modernise the toilets at the golf road end, howver there was an unexpected delay with the car park money so it has to wait.

Or did you think we demolished the golf road toilets and left them in rubble with fencing around it for a laugh?

the delay was because there were no actual sewers there, without sewers proper toilets could not be built, i think that is partly why golf road is in the state it is at the mo
