Hardly surprising if they are focusing their efforts to celebrate "the anniversary of being the last non league club to qualify for the 5th round of the FA Cup."

Wonder how the the plans are looking for the "last team to score a diving header in the 63rd minute of a Tuesday night match" celebration party!

£150-250k isn't a deadly amount though if costs are cut (and pride swallowed) and fund raising started. It's £900k plus when things get terminal.

That's just the amount that they are admitting to owing though, Ballers.

Possible 'tip of the iceberg' scenario...?

Their first priority is to find £75000 very soon to pay the taxman,or face a winding up order.

I do seem to remember their 'fans'* tauntingly singing "We'll never play you again" to us all as we were relegated. Perhaps their wish is about to come true at last?

Prior to that day, when we ere relegated and they were champions, I didn't have a problem at all with KHFC. Since then I see their fans as  one-eyed moron and fools.

Never forgotten the arrogant pigs attitude and behaviour.

NO SYMPATHY.

never liked their chavs who stand right next to the fencing at the segregated away area and chant "oo are yew?" in terrible brummie accents.

And their arrogance and petulance in celebrating our relegation more than their promotion sticks in my gut.

That said they are part of my personal history as I can remember my brother getting married on the opening day of the season and my Dad as part of his speech announcing the 1-0 win to rapturous cheering from the many alty fans in the wedding party.

NO sympathy here (as I'm sure all will know  ;)) .... Another club, like Weymouth  who could be correct with "We'll never play you again" but not in the way they thought.

Gerry Quinn's first game as manager (18th August 1992...I think).Ricky Harris scored & I too was at a wedding.

The statement they've issued today refers to "this famous and unique club". Famous ? Up to a point. Unique ? Anybody got any theories ?

Taxi Phil

The only unique thing I can think of is the name Harriers. Other than junior clubs, there is no other team know. as 'Harriers' - not to my knowledge anyway.

That must be what they mean by being a unique club - sad isnt it

The name "Harriers" is traditionally associated with athletics (Sale Harriers the obvious example) so I'd guess they originated as a football club from some athletics club.
